Skyrim Lockpicking
As someone who always plays a Rogue-type character in my first play-through of any RPG style game, this comes as good news to me. This quote from an article at GameBandits:
"Another role-playing feature, lock-picking will be both new and old in The Elder Scrolls 5 – Skyrim. It is old because previous Elder Scroll titles feature lockpicking. However, it has new feature mechanics borrowed from Bethesda’s sci-fi title, Fallout 3 and should improve player experience with this familiar feature."
I was never much of a fan of the lock-picking system in Oblivion, but I did like the way Fallout 3 handled it. This is good news indeed.
